GRE score is one of the most important selection factors for Graduate (MS) and Post Graduate (PhD) admissions in the top Universities in USA, Canada and Singapore. GRE tests the academic aptitude of students including Verbal Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude and also measures critical thinking and reasoning abilities of the students under time constraint. It’s a completely adaptive test where performance of the students in the first verbal section and the first quant section determine the difficulty level of the next sections.
GRE Test Structure:
The GRE General Test is a computer-delivered and Section-adaptive test that runs for 3 hours and 45 minutes (with a short break of 10 minutes after first three sections) with an overall score range of 260 to 340 (main score) and a band score range of 0 to 6 for the Analytical Writing section.
